Our story began on the 31st of May 2009, we first met each other as a chance encounter where Paul was taking a break from renovating and Sara was on a blind date. After noticing each other Sara noticed Paul immediately and thought to herself he is ‘the one’, you could say it was love at first sight. 10 amazing years of many adventures later, we are now taking the most exciting step of getting Married!
We have chosen the Sunshine Coast hinterland and Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville (1 hour north of Brisbane) as our ceremony, garden party and reception location. It’s our hope to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Brisbane and take time-out in the countryside to really enjoy each other’s company and have a wonderful afternoon and evening.
Our theme is love ❤ We just want it to be a day full of warm smiles, to all reconnect, make each other laugh and dance the night away.
It is peak season for weddings in the area, so if you have not already organised your accommodation, we very much recommend looking into it. There are great hotels and B&Bs in the area. To help, we have organised local transport to and from our venue.

A small note on Children. Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. Please make it a date night! xo

The Venue
Enveloped by beautiful gardens, rolling grass hills and natural rainforest, Spicers Clovelly Estate’s is a tranquil escape on the Sunshine Coast.
We have the whole place to ourselves and can’t think of a more beautiful and relaxing place to have a big party!

Accommodations
The Sunshine Coast hinterland (Montville / Maleny / Flaxton) is beautiful and there are a tonne of really good accommodation options available. It is peak wedding season in September, so we really encourage you to organise your accommodation as soon as you can. We’ve made a list of some accommodation via the link below.
Friday: Get together lunch
For those who are coming-up a day earlier (Friday, 20 September, 2019), we will be having lunch get-together at a Bruhaha Brewery in Maleny from 12 – 2:30pm. More details can be found here.
Saturday: The Big Day!
Our plan is to have everyone together and party! From our ceremony that begins at 3pm, our garden party will commence straight-after and following that, reception and dancing.
